Mamak saved the day on my wedding day!!! She is truly an angel. The original bridal store (not from Mamak but a different store in Orange County) where I had bought my dress had altered my dress and added sleeves, but they were slow with alterations and the sleeves still needed to be attached at my final fitting. My mom had picked up the dress on Friday and when I tried it on Saturday night, the part that had been added to cover the back would not close (there was a 3-4 inch gap!). Thankfully, I had met Mamak earlier in the week to alter some of my other dresses for my wedding events, which she altered beautifully! I called and texted her in case she happened to be available. She came straight to the hotel where I was getting ready, had me try on the dress, and knew right away how to fix it so the dress would close properly. She hand sewed nonstop for 2 hours so that the dress would be finished in time for our first look. She even waited patiently while my photographer got some getting ready photos so that she could show my mom how to bustle my dress. You cannot even tell that she had to add extra Tulle to the back and she was expertly was able to take flowers from other parts of the dress to cover the back so that the whole piece looked seamless. I am so grateful that she came to save the day when I had a real life fashion emergency and highly recommend her for any tailoring needs!!
